January 11 — The Word of His Power

Nothing shall be impossible with God.

Hebrews 1:3 says Jesus “upholds the universe by the word of His power.” Think about that for a moment. The stars don’t move unless His Word tells them to. The oceans stay in their boundaries because He established them. The moon governs the night. The sun burns. The atmosphere holds. The Milky Way stays in place. Everything in the universe is held together by the Word of His power.

So here’s the point: if His Word holds the universe together, how much more can it hold you together?

Why is He able to do this? Because He has power—unlimited, all-encompassing power that goes beyond this earth, beyond time, and beyond what we can understand. Nothing compares to His power.

That matters when life feels overwhelming. Impossibilities. Hopeless situations. Circumstances that seem too big. When you remember that His Word holds the universe together, your problems—real as they are—pale in comparison. Cancer. Disease. Poverty. Lack. Addiction. Failure. Brokenness. Fear. None of it has the authority to say “no” to God.

If God sends His Word with a purpose, nothing can resist it. His Word is backed by His power, and His power has all authority.

So if God has spoken a Word into your life about a situation, stand on it. It WILL accomplish what He sent it to do. There is nothing hell can do to stop it.

“Let it be to me according to Your Word!”

Prayer:
Father God, I believe nothing is outside Your control. Nothing is impossible for You. Come and work on our behalf. Do miracles. Bring breakthrough. Provide what is needed. Show Yourself strong. You have been faithful to me—now demonstrate that same faithfulness in the lives of my kids. Amen.
